HOW TO CHOOSE THE PERFECT SUMMER SUIT

Suit Fullstop
As a first step, move away from black. There’s nothing more unsightly than a man in a black suit on any day this summer when everyone else is barely wearing anything.
If you look at what’s in stores right now, it’s all about colour. But while the neon yellow pants or the lavender suit might throw off many, there are plenty of other ways to look cool in the summer heat.
Khaki suits are the best to go this summer, especially if they are made from lightweight fabrics. You could go on full office style and wear one with a white shirt and a horizontal striped tie or you can keep it very much casual by wearing a T-shirt instead a dress shirt. But pick a tee that hugs your gym biceps just because you might end up removing the jacket in a crowded pool bar, which is the perfect place to show off your toned body.
Of course you can always go back to the classic navy suit. But choose one that is unlined and tailored using a comfortable fabric. Men’s suiting fabrics have become scientifically so advanced that you do not require padding and lining to retain a suit’s shape and fit.
You can also take a clothing hint from the Italians and wear pale coloured suits. When we consider wearing a men’s suit, fit is the most important. Go lean but not skeletal.
