DRESS LIKE AN ITALIAN MAN

When it comes to mens suits, Italian men are the perfect role models for every man. They go to tailors right from their childhood so they know their style very well. So here is your step-by-step guide to look like a native of Rome or Positano.
Suit Fullstop
Start with the right fit. The Italians take pride in wearing clothes that fit their shoulders and with dress pants that are sharp. The layers connecting the shoulders and sleeves of a shirt should always end where your shoulders and arms join. Anything lower than that is wrong-fitting. Shirts should stick to the body but not so skin-tight the buttons pop out.
The best thing is to have a tailor customized shirts, suits and pants. It could be costly but it will be worth the money you pay because you will end up buying less in the long run.
Learn to embrace colour. Try  injecting colour to your outfit in small doses. An orange belt with jeans and a white shirt or purple driving loafers with khakis and a navy blazer will bring a significant look.
Learn the art of the pocket square. There are not many options when it comes to men’s accessories (a watch, wedding band, tie and tie bar, and well-polished shoes). The most basic pocket squares are the white ones with a coloured border. It’s okay to match the colour of your pocket square with your tie, but since it is such a small piece of fabric you are free to go wild and pick something with a pattern or a lively colour. Folding a pocket square is a complex application especially if you go for the triangle peaks. The simplest way is to lay out a pocket square flat, pick it from the centre and stuff it into your jacket pocket.
Pick grown up accessories. Unless and until you’re going to the gym or ball game, trade in the ball hat for a Panama hat or a fedora or a newsboy cap. You’re a man now.
